Salvage Dawgs, the unscripted television series, wants to collaborate with other architectural salvage companies on residential and commercial salvage projects that will be featured in the show. By filming the salvage process, Salvage Dawgs provides an opportunity to tell the positive story of sustainable demolition to an international audience. Past episodes have featured the Salvage Dawgs team working with Columbus Architectural Salvage and Recycling the Past.
Since 2012, Salvage Dawgs has brought national attention to the benefits of recycling and reusing architectural artifacts, and provides a positive marketing and public relations platform for the properties and communities featured on the television show. Co-produced by North Carolina based companies Trailblazer Studios and Figure Eight Films, Salvage Dawgs showcases operations and the quest to save, recycle, and divert from the waste stream as much of America’s architectural history as possible. The show stresses both preservationist and capitalist values and always reflects positively on the salvage process in general and on project partners. .
