Christa Stephens has rejoined Black Dog Architectural Salvage, this time as the branding and promotions director. In her role, Stephens is responsible for brand awareness and product sponsorships, and managing appearances and endorsements for the cast of Salvage Dawgs, Black Dog Salvage’s reality show airing nationally on the DIY Network.
Stephens originally joined the Black Dog team in 2003 and developed the company’s online store through eBay. In 2013 she left to pursue an opportunity with the Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau (RVCVB).
“I am grateful for my experience with the RVCVB and have gained valuable insight into the tourism industry,” Stephens said. “Thanks in part to Salvage Dawgs, Roanoke has become a major destination for fans. I’m excited to promote the authentic characters chronicled in the show, who are also old and dear friends.”
Black Dog Architectural Salvage was founded in 1999 and today is a 40,000 sq. ft. marketplace and warehouse with an onsite wood and metal shop for custom designs in Roanoke, Va.
Salvage Dawgs, a reality show airing on the DIY Network, chronicles Black Dog’s adventures, providing viewers with a glimpse into the work of the business’ owners, Mike Whiteside and Robert Kulp, and their salvage and design crew.
